Hi I’m Michele Cutitto in Seattle. My dad was involved in the Contessa Entelina society all of my childhood in New Orleans.
Right now I’m trying to get my great grandparents’ birth certificates to apply for citizenship by jure sanguinis .
They were Lucca Luke Cutitto (30 March 1883) and Mary Ballanco (1880)Who do I petition for these records? Also I want to come visit. I’d love to meet my relatives!

Hello Everybody. I recently did some family history and found out that my great grandfather Giuseppe Pollichino came from Contessa Entellina. He married Josaphine Giamalva from Chiusa Sclafani. He Moved to Hammond La and settled on Little Italy Rd and changed his named to Pellichino. My father is his youngest sons first born. Would it be proper for me to make a trip to new orleans to introduce myself?

The first event that I attended was All Saints Day, which is always November 1st; generally it begins at 3PM; I always get there early to have more time to socialize because unfortunately people tend to leave a 5PM. I mention this event because it is our free event, and there are no assigned tables. If you wish to attend, request more information from Email@ContessaEntellina.org.
